Agadir airport transfer guide: AGA to Agadir and Taghazout

Agadir-Al Massira Airport (AGA) is approximately 25 kilometers from Agadir’s beachfront and hotel zone. The trip usually takes 30–50 minutes, while Taghazout and other Atlantic coast destinations require more time and benefit from a pre-arranged vehicle.

Best ways to leave AGA

• Official taxi: A practical option for Agadir city and the main resort areas.
• Private airport transfer: The best choice for Taghazout, Tamraght, families, surfboards, and late arrivals.
• Hotel shuttle: Some resorts offer scheduled pickup, but check the timetable before relying on it.
• Rental car: Useful for exploring the coast, Paradise Valley, or the Anti-Atlas.

Estimate your journey

AGA to central Agadir often takes 30–50 minutes. Taghazout commonly takes around 45–75 minutes, depending on traffic and the exact accommodation. A private driver can drop you at a surf camp or apartment that may be difficult to locate with a standard taxi.

AGA arrival tips

Tell your driver whether you are staying in Agadir, Tamraght, Taghazout, or a resort farther south. If carrying sports equipment, confirm the boot capacity. For a return trip, book pickup with enough time for traffic and airport check-in.
